I purchased 10.5 yards of 90 " wide cotton/linen blend fabric to make duvet covers and shams for $1.95 a yard @ fabric.com! Sale is going on now, but the quanities are going quickly, especially the blue. They started off with over a 1000 yards a few days ago and now are under 1/2 that amount! I got blue for my blue and white room, and pink to make 2 twin duvet covers for the girls, their room is going to be pink and green.
