I love Queen Anne's Lace. It's simple and complicated, all at the same time. It also makes a GREAT filler in arrangements. It's hard to find in domestic versions, although it used to be a common garden flower. It does grow along the side of the road en masse around here though.

The Story Behind the Name
Long ago, after purchasing this little house and it's 1/3 acre, I decided it needed a name. Don't ask why, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Big grand manor names or names implying large amounts of land certainly did not apply. Somehow, "Camp Osceola" which is based on it's location, stuck in my mind. Maybe because when you live in an old house with property that has seen it's fair share of neglect, the projects and the improvements are never-ending. You feel as though you are perpetually in BOOT camp. Put a tin roof on the place, add a porch to the front and a pond in the back, and you could be at FISH camp. Throw in a few kids and a passel of pets, and on any given day, you FEEL like you are camping. Not sure why but the name stuck. It's a state of mind.
I am the mom of two wonderful young men, ages 20 and 16. My younger son is still living at home, and I have recently adopted two beautiful girls from Haiti, ages 9 and 6.
